What will research participants be asked to do?

Participants will be invited to take part of:

  • A 40 mins interview (face to face or by online, depending on preference): Interviews will help us to identify the current barriers to green public procurement. Semi-structured interviews are characterised by a set of questions which are flexible enough to also allow further exploration of issues raised by the interviewee.
  • A half-day workshop (face to face or online – To be confirmed): The findings from the documentary analysis and interviews and their implications for the future of circular public procurement will be discussed during the workshop. The outcome of the workshop will be a pathway to overcome the barriers identified during the interviews.

No financial compensation will be offered to participants. However, participants will be offered free access to the final workshop, to the guidance and framework before available online, and free of charge participation on any potential forum/workshops/training that results from this project.

What will be the outputs of the research?

We intend to publish peer reviewed academic publications, conference papers, blogs, a guidance document, and policy briefs with the finding of this project.
