Interviews will help us to identify the current barriers to green public procurement.

How much of your time? Up to 40-minutes.

When? Between June and September 2025

Stakeholder workshop

We will organise an stakeholder workshop in the University of Nottingham in collaboration with the Connected Places Catapult and the The Innovation Procurement Empowerment Centre.

The outcome of the workshop will be a pathway to overcome the barriers identified during the interviews.

How much of your time? half a day

When? First half of November (TBC)

Why getting involved?

Because you are fundamental in shaping the public procurement policies and practices of the future.

The aim of this project is to support local authorities’ transition towards circular public procurement by identifying barriers for the inclusion of net zero considerations in procurement decision-making. Your contribution is crucial.

All participants in the interview will be invited to the stakeholder workshop. Travel expenses and accomodations may be covered if needed.

We intend to publish peer reviewed academic publications, conference papers, blogs, a guidance document, and policy briefs with the finding of this project.  You will also have access to all of them.

Please do contact me if you lwould ike more information using the form or directly to my email.
